FFFC: Tell our readers about yourself
JA: My name is Jarell Anderson I’m 41 yrs old. I am a wife, mother of 7 (blended) I work in Military Health Insurance. I also am a Certified Health Coach.
FFFC: What inspired you to get a Peloton?
JA: Why we purchased the Peloton gosh many reasons one that stands out for me was I was looking at a picture from my grandson’s baby shower in Feb 2021, and was astonished more like almost disgusted with my pictures. Couldn’t believe how heavy I was standing at 5’ 1.5” 216lbs was too much for my frame. With achy knees and feeling low about the way I looked.

FFFC: How long have you had your Peloton bike?
JA: I am 7 months in happy and 33lbs down. My family also rides.
FFFC: What do you enjoy most about Peloton?
JA: I’m more focused on whole body wellness not just my physical but mental well-being also. To inspire others is the goal on the importance of moving your body. Making mental health a priority. I wasn’t really focused on a goal weight per say basically just getting off the excess.
FFFC: Do you have the Peloton bike, tread or both?
JA: I have the bike+.
FFFC: What advice do you have for someone on the fence about getting a Peloton?
JA: I would suggest to others to find what works for them even if it isn’t the equipment if it’s cardio or whatever find something to enjoy and show up for yourself… I started riding my bike but I have expanded to bootcamps and barre just exploring different activities at diverse intensities – challenging myself has been the greatest help.

FFFC: What other healthy habits do you do that helped in your transformation?
JA: My basics are getting proper sleep especially to support all the activity. Drinking more water- water is vital, it helps everything, eating more vegetables, managing stress, exercise or moving everyday. That’s the foundation I apply.
