It is Day 6 of the Twelve Days of Fitness challenge by Fit Armadillo. This challenge encourages fitness bloggers to blog every day for the next 12 days about our workouts. I am hanging in there.
Today is Day 31 of the December challenge and it consists of 270 squats and 80 scissor kicks. I have plans to do them before I go to my New Year’s Eve extravaganza tonight. Today is a half day at work so that should not be a problem. Why am I waiting later than working out during my normal crack of dawn time? Because I have been using this week to sleep in more than normal. Sleeping in to me is 6:30 am and it feels GREAT! I have more energy, I’m not dragging and life is good.
There’s not a whole lot going on today in the fitness realm other than finishing up this December challenge but I am grateful God allows me to have all of my faculties to work out.
FYI, I’ve also been exercising my spiritual strength by reading a devotional daily. My goal is to read the bible every day next year.
