Twelve Days of Fitness – Day 3

It is Day 3 of the Twelve Days of Christmas challenge by Fit Armadillo and I put in some real workout time today.  I finally made it back out on the pavement with Black Girls RUN! Baltimore.  It was cold but if you don’t think about it then you can get through it.  We started out with a 3 mile effort and ended up clocking an entire 4 miles.  If you know Owings Mills you know we hit HILLS and valleys.  It wasn’t too bad and I even saw some ladies I had not seen in a while including a former co-worker!  When we run in a group it is like a reunion and party of sorts.  Not much time to socialize during the run but before and after?  We get it in!



Also, today is Day 27 of the December challenge and we have 230 squats and a 120 second plank HOLD!  GOOD GOODNESS!  I am about to start that one now.

    Sounds like a fun workout with friends. Did you notice that your route forms the shape of a heart? 🙂 Pretty sweet!

      It does? I did not notice that. It felt good getting out there finally. It has been over a week: groups runs are always fun for me. Thanks for stopping by.

      Thanks Christy. I was supposed to run with my running group but they had a change of plans so I joined BGR! It was nice and fun.
