It’s very exciting getting ready for the workout but you can’t forget to take care of you. Try this wedding shredding workout to get your body in tip top shape for the dress and the festivities.
A wedding is a very special time but all the planning and preparation can cause stress not only for the bride but the bridesmaids and wedding party. One great way to beat the stress is to get your workout on to improve your cardio, build strength, improve endurance and to make sure you can fit the dress and look great in the pictures – a duh!
Start performing this workout 4 to 6 weeks before the BIG DAY and perform 3 times a week and you should be right and tight on the big day. Make sure your nutrition is on point as well.
It’s actually more important than the workout and yours must be on point as the bride to fit the dress and as the wedding party to look amazing in the selected dress.
As always, here are a few tips to help you as you begin your workout.
Warm up
Always warm up for 5 to 10 minutes before your workout. It not only helps loosen up tight muscles and get the blood flowing but it helps prepare your mind for what’s to come.
I recommend you perform up to 10 minutes of cardio on your equipment of choice whether it be jump rope, treadmill, stepmill, elliptical or rower.
Self massage such as self myofascial release (SMR) and stretching are general warm up options or you can perform specific warm ups for the body part you are about to work.
Workout Instructions
Follow the number of sets of each wedding shredding workout
based on your fitness level. Beginner perform 1 set and build up to additional sets. Intermediates you have 3 sets and Advanced you have 5 sets. You can thank me now.
