FFFC:  Please introduce yourself to our readers (i.e. your name, occupation, hobbies, etc.).

TC:  Hello My Name is Tiffany I am a wife of 6 years to my middle school, yes I said it middle school sweet heart! I am mom of 2 beautiful kids who keep me on my toes 24/7. They are my whole life and I am truly blessed to be called mom by them! I am a hairstylist but my passions are singing, card designing and blogging.

FFFC:  What sparked your weight-loss transformation journey?

TC:  After my kids it was difficult to loose weight.. Ha ha who am I kidding, I was stinkin LAZY. I was not blessed with the natural skinny frame. I have to work hard and after getting fed up with my size 14 jeans, I decided to do something about it!

FFFC:  What was your beginning and current weight or measurements?

TC:  I was about 185 and was a size 14 in jeans.

FFFC:  How long did it take for your weight-loss transformation from beginning to end?

TC:  I started in January of 2011 and by august 2011 I was down to a size 9 in jeans and weighed 138.

FFFC:  What physical activities did you participate in during your journey?

TC:  I joined the gym and was in the gym 4 to 5 times a week. I also did a lot of hiking, running, and zumba. I also joined a soccer team and played indoor soccer once a week!

FFFC:  How did your eating habits change?

TC:  I completely changed my eating habits cut the carbs and sugars. I ate lots of chicken, fish, fruits and vegetables, brown rice, and lots of protein shakes. I also bought a blentec and made spinach ice cream when I was weak and wanted something sweet. (Recipe is almond milk, vanilla protein,  ice, stevia!)

FFFC:  What is your favorite fitness activity?

TC:  I love to be outdoors. Hiking, running, soccer etc. although I really love weights. Never thought I would!

FFFC:  What do you do now to maintain your physique?

TC:  I eat clean and still go to the gym regularly.

FFFC:  How did you develop and sustain the willpower to avoid the bad stuff (i.e. junk food, bad drinks, lack of activity, etc.)?

TC:  I have my weak moments, especially around the holidays but I just have to remind myself that it is just food, it is only satisfying for 2 minutes tops! I’d rather be satisfied with my health and physical appearance than enjoy a snickers for a minute!

FFFC:  What advice do you have for someone starting out on their weight-loss journey but unsure of how to begin

TC:  Have a goal and remind yourself of that goal every day. Keep busy and PLAN your meals. Don’t buy crap even at the store thinking you will be strong enough NOT to eat it because you will cave. Trust me the first 2-3 weeks is the hardest after that you will start noticing that the life change is easy!

FFFC:  What do you think is the biggest misconception about this journey?

TC:  That it is NOT possible!! IT IS. If I can do it anyone can!!

FFFC:  How can readers learn more about your transformation and journey online (i.e. facebook, tumblr, twitter, etc.)?

TC:  I just have my blog that I talk and blog about anything. I am going to be blogging more about my weight loss journey soon, because I am NOT finished and I still have some weight to loose and muscle to gain! This is my new way of life. Get off your butt and do something about it! You will be happy you did!!
