Hey everybody!!!! I hope everyone reading this is doing great. I have had a whirlwind of a week. I resigned from my position to move into the next chapter of my career and I am ecstatic about that. I signed up to volunteer in my childrens’ schools in the classroom and the lunchroom. THEY are super excited about that. Well maybe my 8-year old. My 13-year old is still on the fence.
Is everyone doing the #BOSUStrong challenge I talked about this past Sunday on the blog? If you want to learn more about it follow me on Instagram and catch the prompts with the hashtag so you know what you need to do. It’s a lot of fun and very inspiring!!! Here’s what I did for #TempoTuesday.
Also, I had an amazing opportunity to hang out with Patrice Harris at WBFF FoxBaltimore yesterday, September 15, 2015, to discuss meal subscription boxes (which you can catch right here). I was very excited about this segment because as most of you know who have been reading this blog for a while, I LOVE SUBSCRIPTION BOXES and one that can feed my family healthy food AND save me time? That’s for ME!!!
And to top it off – the No Sugar In September challenge is going AMAZING and we are planning our next major challenge for October which you all are just gonna love.
Actually, 1 more thing, Certified Personal Trainer Sheila Simmons of The Frugal Exerciser and I are hosting a new DietBet challenge. Our Beat the Bulge had some awesome challengers who were focused on beating the bulge and many did. We are waiting on the results. This next challenge is called “Back To Trim” and we are going to be here to help everyone get through this challenge with daily clean eating prompts, workout plans for any fitness level by certified personal trainer and a workout calendar. If you have extra weight you want to lose and need a challenge and incentive to help you do it, then this challenge is for you.
To register go to http://dietbet.com/femmefitale
Cost: $35 but you win that back when you lose 4% of your starting body weight PLUS a portion of the overall pot
Starts: September 22, 2015
Don’t wait any longer, let us help you get BACK TO TRIM.
Ok now ON to this week’s workout. I did this workout last week on Thursday with the ladies from my workout group and we did 2 rounds because all of us still had to leave for work (my last day was Friday) so we finished in 25 minutes. Enjoy the playlist which I put together by watching reality TV (don’t judge) and let me know what you think of the workout which was actually put together by our certified personal trainer Heather Brooke Malone Wolf who recently decided to stop training (sniff sniff). I have a bunch of her workouts so we ladies agreed we would meet up and keep it going.
Now on to this workout. This did not include any hand weights and was solely body weight exercises so that was refreshing. You can do this at home or in the gym so branch out and challenge yourself. You won’t regret it.
Equipment needed:
- Bench
- Towel
- Water

I do love those strength workouts you can do at home! This looks like a good one, and I’ll be saving it for after marathon training is complete.
