Please introduce yourself to our readers

My name is Claudia I’m 25 years old, I’m a stay at home mom. 

What sparked your weight-loss transformation journey?

I thought about my son and how much he needs me alive.. so I decided to get on a diet to lose weight and get healthier. 

What was your beginning and current weight or measurements?

Starting weight 330.  During weight now 298

How long did it take for your weight-loss transformation from beginning to end?

It took about 7 weeks.. March 10 to Now.. I am still doing it. And not stopping till I lose more. 

Which physical activities did you participate in during your journey?

I do Zumba. Bicycle. Walking and running 3 miles a day. 

How did your eating habits change?

I cut out sugar and just carbs in general. 

What do you typically eat for breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner?

I eat meat.. eggs.. anything with low to no carbs.. so typical breakfast is an Atkins shake, lunch is a grilled chicken salad with ranch dressing, dinner is a plain burger patty with a side of veggies.. snack would be an Atkins bar. 

What is your favorite fitness activity?

I love walking and running. 

What do you do now to maintain your physique?

I just follow the keto/ Atkins diet 

How did you develop and sustain the willpower to avoid the bad stuff (i.e. junk food, bad drinks, lack of activity, etc.)?

I think about how good it will feel to lose the weight I’m carrying and do give in to sugar or bad stuff. 

What advice do you have for someone looking to get started with their fitness journey but not sure where to begin?

Pinterest helps with anything. Having supportive family helps too. 

What do you think is the biggest misconception about this journey?

That You don’t lose weight.. because starting off.. your weight goes up and down.. and when people step on the scale one day.. your down two pounds then the next your up three pounds.: it’s because of the water weight and people just get scared and give up at that point.. but when you work that off. You can lose it all and it will be worth it. 

Do you have any fitness inspirations?  Who are they?

I see a lot of women on Instagram who inspire me.. from their weight loss journeys.. I don’t have anyone I can name.
