Reset On Detox, Bootcamp and Other Stuff

Hey everybody!!!  Can you believe how fast this year has flown?  I am amazed at everything we have been able to accomplish here at Femme Fitale Fit Club on the blog, Instagram @FemmeFitaleFitClub and on Facebook.  I am back at it again…pushing myself to optimize results.  Let me share with you what I have been up to:

Reset on detox

I had a bottle of Essence of Vitality in my refrigerator for a few weeks so I finally downed it and finished it up.  There was only about 8 oz left so that was gone in like 2 days.  Yeah I went hard!!!  Let me set a record straight – everyone complains about the taste.  That it is nasty, tastes like rubber or is disgusting.  It doesn’t taste like kool-aide but it isn’t as bad as everyone makes it out to be.  I have read up on it and basically – the nastier it tastes is an indication that you are consuming too much sugar or your taste buds have adapted more to sweet things (and you consume a lot of sweet-tasting foods).  The more you drink the EOV, the taste becomes more subdued.  I’m not kidding you.

Anywho – didn’t mean to break out in a lecture, just want to share what I know and have learned along the way of this journey.  Day 0 Reset is TODAY and Day 1 will be Black Friday (by the time this posts).  I am only being honest.  I would not set myself up for failure.  Can you blame me?

Sanders Optimum Fitness Bootcamp

This is the final bootcamp session being offered in 2013.  2014 is a new year and I will be right back front and center doing this bootcamp thing.  I remember starting bootcamp back in July 2012 and have been going at it ever since.  I have sat out a few times this year such as May, August and September.  Those were some crucial months for me personally and I just could not keep it going with the fervor I needed to.  Coach Monte Sanders is back at it again and is not letting us off the hook.  The routines are coming fast and furious and he continues to take it up a notch to confuse our body and to break through plateaus.  I get it but sometimes I wake up tired and not in the mood for any of it.  Today I thought I was going to throw up after our sprints.  I made it through though and burned mad calories in the process.   Check it out!

It’s good being back though.  We are seeing old friends and acquaintances and everyone really has their head in the game.  We are going to need it – SERIOUSLY!!

Fitness Workout Group (Workout Divas)

I have my very own fitness group at the gym now y’all!  I still work out with my personal trainer but there are 3 other people working out with me.  We still work up a sweat in 30 minutes and my trainer keeps going up on the weight.  Her philosophy is that she has to crank it up to intermediate and advanced in order for us to get our money’s worth in 30 minutes.  That doesn’t seem like a lot of time UNTIL you are actually struggling through a workout!  OY!  Here is one of the workouts we did today.  We have a date with iron tomorrow morning at 8 am though.  That’s right we keep it going through Thanksgiving come rain or shine.
