I put together a quick video to show you all of the goodies that came in this lovely and delicious box so check it out below.

Inside the FitSnack Box

The first thing I did was read the insert which came with a workout and words from Rose Muniz on one side and a list of all of the box’s contents on the other.  I was very impressed with the workout as I have never received a snack box with that before.  NICE!

Fitsnack box insert

Compete Energy Bits – I actually tried these before going to the gym for a session with my personal trainer and a 3-mile run.  It definitely gave me a nice BOOST for a 3-mile run.   It tastes just like a tootsie roll and was very good.  I would definitely be using up this box.

Complete Energy

Simply 7 Snacks – Quinoa and Lentil Chips – Honey…these chips were the truth!  I preferred the Quinoa Chips over the Lentil Chips but honestly you can’t go wrong with these.  Packed with protein, baked, non-GMO, gluten-free, and kosher goodness these had me wanting more as soon as I finished the bag.  WINNER!!

Level Life Bar – I haven’t tried this bar yet but Level Life offers a full range of gluten-free treats designed for folks with diabetes (I’m digging that since my mom is diabetic).  Their food is also optimal for folks trying to lose weight.

Level 1 Bar

Oven Baked Organics Pancake Mix – I haven’t tried this pancake mix yet but plan to take it to my mom’s house over Spring Break so we can all taste test these bad boys together.  What I can tell you though is it is made from whole organic grain and organic spices.  The packaging prevents oxidation and contains aluminum-free baking soda.  Sounds like a good thing to have in the pantry and for breakfast.

Oven Baked Mix Co pancake mix

Lenny & Larry’s – This cookie was about as big as my head, and I have a big head.  It is 4 ounces and this brand makes a host of other treats such as breakfast bars, muscle brownies and muffins.  Hmm, that sounds interesting.  This cookie is full of protein too with 16 grams.  I haven’t tasted it yet though.  I plan to pack it in my daughter’s lunchbox.

Lenny and Larrys Complete Cookie

Sunbutter – I once bought a jar of this for my son who has a nut allergy but we never fed it to him.  Now he won’t eat anything that resembles peanut butter but I just may try and slip this on some toast with jam and feed it to him for breakfast one day.  I have heard nothing but great things about it and if you have nut allergies, this may be the answer because it is made from sunflower seeds.

Sunbutter Spread

NOGII Protein Powder – I tried the vanilla flavor and this powder is GOOD!  I put it in my berry smoothie complete with almond milk and it kept me full and satisfied for a good 3 hours or so.  I wish it wasn’t a sample box especially for a box you are paying for but other than that – it was a good addition to this month’s snack box.  This is 100% gluten free.

NoGii Protein Powder

Fit Snack Raw Almond & Pumpkin Mix – I have been saving this pack for my husband because he loves noshing on nuts and seeds while watching movies.  The almonds are raw and having it mixed with the pumpkin seeds sounds like the perfect snacking treat.

Almond and Pumpkin Seed Mix

Fit Snack Veggie Chips – I swear by these veggie chips!  They looked like vegetables and taste awesome.  They were nice and crunchy and I just could not get enough of them.  This was the WINNER of this snack box in my opinion.  I want more but do not know where to buy them.  *sniff*   The chips included taro, sweet potato, purple sweet potato, carrot and string beans just to name a few.

Veggie Chips

This box came overloaded with 12 snacks and I was nothing but pleased.  The box was heavy and it seemed like an excellent value for the price.  Of course, the more boxes you buy the better the value PLUS you get secret additional surprises and a FREE gym bag ($10 value).  Sounds like a winner.

Pros:

  • Boxes come with a monthly workout
  • Each box contains healthy, organic or gluten-free snacks for healthy noshing
  • Nice variety of snacks

Cons:

  • Have to pay $5 shipping and handling
  • Wish there was a way to purchase my favorites directly from their site especially the Fit Snack Veggie Chips

Rating:

I give this box a 9 stars out of 10 stars. This box was very impressive and I enjoyed all of the snacks that I tried.  I gave it a 9 only because I didn’t see information where I could repurchase some of my favorites such as the Fit Snack Veggie Chips.  I definitely believe this box is one of the better subscription boxes out there.

I’d love to try the quinoa chips! Although the size of that cookie is intriguing to me. 🙂
