August Fit Snack Box Unboxing

Hi Femme Fitale Family – it’s that time again – I am sharing an unboxing of the August Fit Snack Box.  This box did not disappoint and I have more healthy snacks to share with family and co-workers.

August Fit Snack Box

As I’ve posted in my previous unboxing posts, these boxes are a monthly subscription with enough goodies to share with many people so don’t be greedy and keep everything to yourself.  Also, Fit Snack donates a portion of their proceeds to Feeding America.  That is really cool and I love to support companies that give back.

You can set up your subscription to receive snacks month-to-month, 3 months, 6 months or 12 months.  If you subscribe for 12 months you get an extra box free. With any of these subscriptions you also get a FREE gym bag with your initial order.  I think that is very cool.

It took me a minute to open this box because I wanted to make sure either my family was out of the house or asleep.  Ya know why?  Because they will start grabbing things out of the box before I know it and you guys will be short with seeing all the contents in the box.  LOL.

If at any time you want more information about any of these snacks simply click on the photo or the name of the snack to get more details.

Core Awakening Yoga Flow

They always share a workout of the month and August was no different.  This month they share a yoga flow to awaken our core.  I haven’t tried it yet but I definitely plan to.

Fit Snack Information Sheet

As always you can always find all that came in the box on the opposite side of the card.  It also often contains discount codes and specials too.  I love that.

Blueberry Granola Crisp Recipe

Check this out, they also included this delicious looking blueberry granola crisp recipe in the box by one of the featured brands – Purely Elizabeth.  This is definitely on my “do try” list.

Now let’s dig into this box.

YummySnacks

YummySnacks Cheddar flavored protein chips were a delicious filling snack as I sat and watched movies on Saturday  night.  The taste really kept me coming back.  If you are cheese lover you will enjoy these.

Veggie Elite Performance Protein

Veggie Elite Performance Protein is one to try.  It works with plain water or almond milk so I plan to try this before a run to see how well it fuels.

Purely Elizabeth Granola

Purely Elizabeth Granola – Pumpkin Fig is an organic brand of granola made with ancient grains like quinoa, amaranth, and chia.  It can be challenging to find delicious granola not packed with a bunch of sugar but this brand does a pretty good job of limiting the sugar content.

Runa Clean Energy Drink

Runa Clean Energy – Orange Passion drink has no sugar added and is powered by Guayusa.  It is supposed to be a perfect balance between sweet, citrus and tart so I am looking forward to trying this, especially when it only contains 10 calories.

Trophy Farms

Trophy Farms – Almonds are a perfect snack especially when you start feeling the mid-afternoon slumps.  Last month this box had the peanuts so I love the way they are keeping it going showing off the other nuts Trophy Farms offers.

Morning Sunshine Cookie

Morning Sunshine Cookie is a high protein, high fiber cookie that is heavy and thick too.  Since this cookie is made of clean ingredients with high nutritional value, this takes the guilt out of eating cookies.  I can’t wait to try it as it seems perfect for breakfast.

Love Grown Foods

Love Grown Foods – Power O’s is a cereal made with beans vs. wheat or corn.  It has all types of beans in it too like navy as well as lentils.  I served it to my son for breakfast and he could taste the difference.  He wasn’t that thrilled but then again he is a majorly picky eater.  If you have wheat intolerances, this could be the right alternative for you.

Kutoa

Kutoa Nutritional Bar is on a serious mission to empower change via health.  This bar is gluten and soy free, vegan and non-GMO and for every bar you purchase, they feed a hungry child.  Great mission and purpose.

Don't Go Nuts Chocolate Soybean Dip

Don’t Go Nuts Dips is made from soybeans so they are dairy free, gluten free, nut-free, non-GMO and a delicious dip for pretzels, crackers or sliced apples.  My daughter is going to love this.

Balance Bare Nutritional Energy Bar

Balance Bare Bar is a perfect snack for bar lovers who want naturally energizing ingredients like real fruit, whole foods and nuts.  If you need a mid-morning or mid-afternoon snack, this nutrition energy bar should do the trick.
