In case you weren’t already aware, exercising releases endorphins, which are the body’s natural pain relievers. With that in mind, these endorphins work to block the pain signals before they even reach the brain, making them more effective than pills.

Relieving endorphins doesn’t just help with pain relief however, it can also go some way to reduce the likes of anxiety, stress and depression. Whether it’s physical or mental pain, getting endorphins pumping round your blood is sure to help.

However you go about it, applying heat increases the flow of oxygen in the damaged area and stops pain signals.

What’s more, there’s also a variety of thermal products available that can be worn under the clothes in order to provide heat therapy throughout the day.

Acupuncture

When it comes to natural pain relief, acupuncture is a term that you’ve likely heard before. It’s a largely popular pain relief technique that stems from the ancient Chinese. That being said, its effectiveness varies by person and the type of pain.

Acupuncture is the process of inserting fine needles into the skin at points along your body’s “energy lines”. It’s used to treat many mental conditions, but many people find that it works well to relieve physical pain. There’s no guaranteeing that acupuncture will work for your particular pain, but it’s always worth giving a go before turning to the pills.

This is a great post! I think that in order to get rid of back pain you have to persevere. You have to be active almost every day, find the things that help you and do them daily for months. Seek help and if you don’t get relief seek help again. The thing with back injuries is there is no set rules, no one thing that makes everybody better. I know first hand you can get better it just takes some time and investigation.

Exactly. I worry about injuring my back because I have seen firsthand where it can put someone down for the count.

    Hi,

I would also vouch for exercising especially Yoga. My father’s chronic back pain was gone within months by persisting with Yoga back exercises. Other tips like TEN and acupuncture sound interesting, as they are natural and do not involve medication.

These tips are amazing and help a lot in the back pain. However, if you do not find relief in a few starting weeks then consult a good chiropractor and you will see the difference. Thanks for sharing such nice information.
