Boy it feels great to workout on your own time and your own schedule. I can’t tell you this is a welcomed relief. Now don’t get me wrong – I am not working out less, I’m just determining my own workouts and when they are going to happen. I am still dedicated to moving at least 5 days a week and so far that has been working out really well this week. Let’s get into a recap of my week so I can show you how good I actually did.

Friday
I worked out with my personal trainer Heather and it was VERY GOOD. This workout I call “Step It Up” because there are 10 sets and each set you repeat the exercise by increasing the rep by 2. Only 2 of us showed up which worked really well for me.

Monday
I bounced out of bed on this day and was ready to hit the pavement for my run. My running boo’s I normally run with weren’t up to it because we had a long weekend so I got on out there with BGR! Baltimore and we did a tried and true route which has a major hill. I also BIT THE DUST on this run. My first time ever falling during a run. I was running, my toe tipped uneven sidewalk and down went Frazier! Fortunately I had another BGR! runner right there with me who stayed with me the remainder of the run to make sure I was ok. That is why I love BGR! – no woman left behind or DOWN.
Tuesday
I normally workout with my trainer on Tuesdays but her mother was sick and could not watch her young beautiful son but no problem – I just hit the pavement with my running boo’s. It was a good run! I also test drove the Adidas miCoach Fit Smart on this day. I LOVE the fact I do not need a chest strap. This is about to spoil me for real. Review on this fitness gadget coming soon!
Wednesday
You guessed it – back out on the pavement with my running boo’s. We went a wee bit farther today with a slightly different route for all of us (ya gotta change it up and stay challenged). This run was one of my favorites because we really pushed the pace and that felt good. After all, we all want to get 15 touches in boot camp when it is all said and done with once it starts back up. This was my 2nd day working out with the Adidas miCoach Fit Smart.
Thursday
Hallelujah we were back in the gym with my personal trainer. We have a new member of our fitness group and I was happy to see her because we also run together sometimes. We all hit the weights and it was a pretty tough workout. I call this one “Row Yourself Fine” because we did a lot of rowing. Try it and tell me what you think.

I will eventually have to move out of the oversized workout clothes which I know have been a crutch as I’ve been losing weight. I will be checking out your gear later. I am interested in hearing about the MiCoach. The Polar Fitness watch and I are having some issues namely because of the strap and heart monitor.
