My routine got turned on its head. I am back in in-person boot camp with Sanders Optimum Fitness and boy what a return it was. I can say I returned fairly strong but I realize this session is going to be a test of endurance hence the “Keep Going” theme of today’s post.
Friday
I ran with the lovely ladies of BGR! Baltimore on Friday and we hashed it out!
Saturday
Saturday’s run was awesome. I stepped out with BGR! Baltimore and while they had initially intended to do 8 miles, we ended up doing about 5! Yeah I felt pretty lucky because I was nervous about those 8 miles.
Monday
Monday was first day back at boot camp and I feel I held my own. It was by no way EASY but those sessions help you develop your will to fight through fatigue, exhaustion and the feeling of wanting to give up. I always burn the most calories there.
Tuesday
I hit the BRICK with my girl Heather-Brooke Malone-Wolf as she took us through a series of exercises. It was simple YET challenging.

Wednesday
You guessed it another full POWER HOUR of boot camp. It was GOOD and I drank some FRS to give me wings.
Thursday
We go back to back Wednesday and Thursday so you can imagine, we did 15 touches, push up drills and much more. I came REALLY close to making the 15 touches. I did even better than I did on Monday!! The scallops I made from Sizzlefish and smashed cauliflower must have really powered me from last night.
Since I am participating in the Fitbit Charge blogger challenge I have been very focused to get in my steps for the day. We are East Coast vs. West Coast so make sure you check out our LEADERBOARD daily to see which team is ahead and enter each week for a chance to win your very own Fitbit Charge.
SHOPPING TIME
This week I am featuring some very pretty yet functional items by Lululemon apparel for women. Don’t you just love going shopping?

Well done!! The focus on endurance is so important for long term goals! And I am think I am intimidated just by reading about all those burpees (much less doing them myself). 🙂

I used to not care about long runs and endurance but lately it has become more and more important to me.
