In this week’s edition of #FitnessFriday I had to make some adjustments in order to get my workouts in. This past weekend I did not complete any workouts and I indulged a bit at a birthday party so I had to make sure I got back on track. The weekend wasn’t a complete bust – I did receive and start drinking my one-day’s worth of juices from Urban Remedy.
I did plenty of workouts with Sanders Optimum Fitness Online Boot Camp and it did not disappoint. And at 29 for 4 weeks, it’s a total deal. As long as you have Internet, you can access it anywhere in the WORLD! If you are interested in signing up just click HERE to learn more.

Monday
I had a nice 20-minute speed run on my NordickTrack treadmill and finished it off with a high-impact abs routine with Sanders Optimum Fitness online boot camp. We did everything from standing and sitting abs with cardio circuits in between. One of the best workouts around.
Tuesday
I had a workout date with Jillian Michaels and her 30-day Shred DVD, Level 1 but not before I did a 20-minute 250 calorie run on my NordickTrack. I started with the Level 1 circuit so I could work my way up and boy it did not disappoint. The workout consisted of 3 circuits of the following:
- 3 minutes of strength training
- 2 minutes of cardio
- 1 minute of ab exercises
Circuit 1 included push ups and squat/shoulder presses. Then we moved on to side lunges with front raises, backward lunges with bicep curls and bench chest flyes. The cardio included in place butt kickers, jump rope and jumping jacks. If you don’t have this DVD you definitely want to check it out. There were also exercises you could modify.
In other news, we continued with our #LunchBoxRollCall on Facebook and Instagram this week and made time to show off my turkey chili recipe, yogurt, fresh pressed juice and granola.
Wednesday
I made today all treadmill so I ran Speed, Level 2, 1 incline, 6.2 mph for 30 minutes. It basically was an interval on my NordickTrack C900. It was challenging, got my heart rate up and just what the doctor ordered. I realize that as I work out at home I need to go for the “hard” settings just to maintain my endurance, no ifs, ands or buts. That’s just the way it has to be.
Thursday
Today I did a basic workout with the Sanders Optimum Fitness online boot camp. It was all cardio and while it had me moving, I didn’t burn as many calories and I would have liked. Better luck next time.
I am linking up with the lovely ladies of the #FitnessFriday Link Up (Britt from The Pinnacle Project, Danielle from Ok Dani, and KLP from SavingOurStrands) so check them out over at their blogs and pop in and join us and share your awesome workout week recaps.
SHOPPING TIME
I scoured the ends of the earth to find some gorgeous workout attire on sale or at a fairly affordable cost. I am constantly more conscious about my attire as I workout (perhaps I am changing and just don’t want to look like I rolled out of bed) so what keeps me motivated about my clothes is looking at some of the gorgeous fitness clothes out there. Take a look around and window shop.

I can’t wait to hear what you think about the Urban Remedy juices! Jillian Michael’s has been sitting in my dvd case for years now and I’ve never done it, I may have to drag it out now! Hope you have a great weekend!

I’ve been contemplating picking up a HRM but I’m not sure how much I would use it. I like the idea of it, but I liked the idea of a Jawbone too and rarely ever wear mine anymore.

I too am a huge fan of juicing, but I’ve never tried Urban Remedy! I’m going to look for it
