Learn some creative ways to eat more veggies daily.
Let’s face it, vegetables tend not to be everyone’s favorite. I mean they grow in funny colors and they sometimes aren’t the sweetest. My kids even fight me on eating vegetables on a daily basis but I figured out some creative ways to get my family and myself eating more vegetables with no complaints.
Sweeten them up
Many vegetables aren’t that sweet but a great way to sweeten them up naturally is by roasting them in the oven with a little olive oil and sea salt. Do this with cauliflower, brussels sprouts, red onions and butternut squash. Your family will thank you.
Hide them
What they don’t know won’t hurt them right? I am famous for chopping up vegetables really fine and adding it to their favorite comfort foods like chili, hamburger meat and spaghetti.
They are happily chowing down their food and am secretly smiling to myself because they don’t know just how “healthy” their bowl of veggie-filled nachos really are.
I love it!
Liquidate
Drink your veggies. This may take some talking into or food coloring (my kids think it is crazy to drink anything green) but put vegetables in a beverage and they are none the wiser.

I talk about this all day long in my job as a nurse practitioner! My own kids won’t eat veggies so I just put them in smoothies. There are a lot of ways to sneak veggies into a meal. Great post, Diatta!
