Hey fitness fans! I know it’s been a minute since I’ve shared my own recipe on the blog but no better time like the present right? Oh and I do realize today is Tuesday not Monday but I wanted to stick with the “theme” so this post is being published today. I love being unconventional.
Anywho – I was inspired to create this recipe because I recently purchased the Philosophie smoothie powder bundle and when I saw the Cacao Magic pack I wanted to use it in more than just a smoothie. My family loves milkshakes so I thought I would make a special one with all of the goodness and none of the high-sugar, and highly processed versions they tend to purchase at the fast food places.
I hope you enjoy this – it is soooooo GOOD!!!
Equipment:
Blender
Juicer
Mason jars for storing
Ingredients:
3 TB Cacao powder
3 Medjool dates
1 package raw almonds soaked for at least 8 hours
16 oz coconut water
Directions: Juice the soaked almonds with coconut water with your juicer. Pour the almond milk in a blender and add the dates and cacao powder. Blend until smooth. Pour into a milkshake glass and ENJOY!!!
If all this still has you confused about how to make, take a quick look at my Meal Minute video on YouTube where I show you exactly how to make this delicious treat.
If you like this recipe please share it with your family, co-workers, friends and acquaintances.

YUM!! I’m seen the Philosophie powders but I’ve never tried them. I’m a big fan of mint chocolate milkshakes! I make them very similar to this but add a little peppermint extra and dark chocolate chips 🙂

This sounds so delicious. I have tried almond milk sweetened with dates from the store before but never made it at home. I have all the ingredients at home and look forward to trying this! #wowlinkup

I have not tried this brand nor have I heard of it. You had me at the picture of your smoothie. I don’t have the patience to soak my almonds, I wonder if almond milk from the carton would work fine? Thanks for sharing this super good recipe 🙂

Hi Diatta,
I just hopped by from #wowlinkup to explore your raw vegan chocolate milkshake recipe. I have never juiced almonds so this is something that I have to try. What a great idea. It’s much easier than straining through cheesecloth.
