I went into this week to give thanks for being blessed with the ability to run, walk, jump, smile, push, pull, lift, heave and breathe. Yessss….I set out to make this week a special week not just because of Thanksgiving but because I was going to be surrounded by family and was reminded how much my friends love and care for me. I love and care for them and so this week’s workouts were very hard, tough even exhausting but I pushed through and finished strong.
Friday
I ran on Friday with my lovely running boo’s and we hit hills, corners and more hills to get it in.
My cousin Coco came in town so we stopped to get some vittles at Stone’s Cove which is awesome. I kept it simple – steak cooked medium and vegetables.
Saturday
I skipped a workout or run this past Saturday because I didn’t want to wake up at the crack of dawn plus I had a bunch of errands.
Sunday
While I skipped Saturday due to early-morning errands, I went in and put in work on Sunday with my running boo. I love running with my ladies because when someone isn’t in the mood, others are and everyone is extremely supportive. Our goal was to go out and back, hit a minimum of 5 miles and get back in time for church. We did that even though I woke up late and we got a late start at 7:30 am.
Monday
Monday was the start of another awesome week, FIRST the Fitbit #MotivationalMondays challenge asked us to extend a workout by 20 minutes to get in more steps. I think I can do that. Mondays are boot camp days so we ran, sprinted, and did everything in between and while I felt like I was going to fall out -I was thankful for being able to do it and pushed through. Burned some mean calories in the mix as well. As you can see from my Fitbit results, I was highly active first thing in the morning and then sedentary. UGH!
Tuesday
Heather my personal trainer put it to us on Tuesday and while I made it through I was definitely happy when it was over. 🙂 Try the workout and see how you like it.

Wednesday
I ran out of my FRS to give me wings so I had to go off of the food fuel I ate the night before. My legs felt like lead, we were doing a series of sprints that really took everything out of me and just when you think it is over, we have MORE sprints to hate run. The only solace I had was that this was the LAST workout before Thanksgiving. I guess he was trying to burn off the cupcakes, pies and food out of us before we ate it. LOL.
Thursday (Happy Thanksgiving)
Just because it is Thanksgiving doesn’t mean we don’t have a workout – we just do it before the feasting. This workout is dubbed Dirty 30 and my trainer had a lot of fun putting us through the punishment.
I’m still participating in the Fitbit Charge blogger challenge so I remain very focused to get in my steps for the day. We are East Coast vs. West Coast so make sure you check out our LEADERBOARD daily to see which team is ahead and enter each week for a chance to win your very own Fitbit Charge.
SHOPPING TIME
This week I am featuring some very pretty yet functional items by HKNB (Heidi Klum New Balance) apparel for women. Don’t you just love going shopping?
