The Deal With Meal Subscription Boxes

The Deal With Meal Subscription Boxes

Are you a busy mom constantly trying to figure out what you are going to feed your family for dinner?  Are you single and always buying too much food at the grocery store to feed one person?  Would you love to come home from work and already know what you are having for dinner?  Do you like creative meals?  Are you tired of ordering salty, greasy take out?

Then you want to continue reading this post.  There is a new trend in subscription boxes where there are several companies on the scene who provide ready-to-make recipes with farm-fresh ingredients for dinner meals.

They basically work like this:

  1. You sign up on their site
  2. They offer meals plans to feed 2 people or 4 people
  3. They typically send you 3 dishes of your choice (you review the next week’s menu and make your selections)
  4. They typically cater to specific food requirements that you specify
  5. They mail a box of the ingredients, the recipe and the protein to your door

I am very excited about this type of service because what I’ve found from trying this service is that it saves time, takes the guesswork out of what’s for dinner, offers delicious recipes and pretty easy to follow.

Thanks for sharing #BLMgirl! This was a good post and a nice resource for me as busy mom looking for quick dinner options. I’ve been wanting to try Plated but after your article I think HelloFresh would be a better option!

Currently I’m using RelayFoods.com— you should check it out too, meal planning is amazing!

Relay foods? I’m going to check it out now. My family loves HelloFresh and any of the fresh recipes from these boxes because sometimes they get bored. This is a great way to change it up.
