Running with Pure Lyft: Product Review

#PureLyft

Disclaimer:  I was not financially compensated for this review.  I did receive a complimentary 2-pack of Pure Lyft Energy Stir Sticks.  All opinions in this review are my very own.

As you know I run early mornings with my Pavement Warrior crew at 5 am.  We typically go between 3 to 5 miles and change up our route often.  The last time we hit the pavement together it was mostly uphill and I was SPENT at the end of it.

Knowing we were planning on an early-morning run this morning I thought I better plan ahead and give my run a boost.  With that plan in my head, I got up 20 minutes before run time and instead of just drinking my plain water at room temperature, I poured and stirred a Pure Lyft Energy Stir Stick in it.  See Pure Lyft is a zero calorie, “clean” caffeine energy product infused with all-natural caffeine from green tea bean extract.

Actually it did not have a taste at all.  Nor did I feel a jolt of energy or jittery I typically get with some of those other “energy” shots.  The best part, it helped me power through those hills with my running crew.

The more I ran, the better I felt so that was amazing!

Description:  Zero calorie, clean taste, vibrant alertness, can be used with a variety of beverages, no artificial flavors or sweeteners, no preservatives, caffeine equivalent to 1 tall coffee, infused with Vitamins A and B.

How to use:  Simply peel back the wrapper hold the stick over your 8 oz drink and then stir the stick for at least 10 seconds.  You can drink this with practically any beverage so get creative but try to keep it clean.  Do not consume more than 3 to 4 servings a day.

Price:  It was free for me but for a 2-pack the cost is $5.99 and a 6-pack costs $15.99.

Where to buy:  You can find Pure Lyft in restaurants, gyms, hotels and lounges.  Also check out their website:  http://www.purelyft.com/

Rating:  I give this product 7 out of 10 stars.  It does what it says it is going to do, it doesn’t leave you jittery or with a crash feeling,  it has minimum ingredients and it seems like it would be PERFECT for a mid-afternoon pick-me-up without running to Starbucks for a coffee run.  The price point is a wee bit steep if you ask me which is why I did not give it a higher rating.  I would definitely use this again.  #cleancaffeine #purelyft

I don’t drink caffeine at all because I hate having the jitters. I’m always drinking either water or tea that is caffeine free. This product sounds like something I would like to try. #ProductReviewParty

Hmm, that’s an interesting concept. Unfortunately, I too can’t have any caffeine so this would not be good for me. But, I do know folks that would love something like this. #productreviewparty
