Have you ever felt worried when you have decided to try a new running route? Wonder if you will make it, or tucker out halfway through? That’s how I feel as I map a new route on MapMyRun based on a suggestion of one of our running partners. I have fun 5 miles before and even found a familiar route to run but this is a NEW one. With new elevations, new traffic patterns, new streets and different landmarks.
With my current 5-mile route I know landmarks, where the elevations are coming and going to end and when the mother of all hills begins and ends. I guess this is why they tell us we have to constantly change it up because as I got used to it so did my body. We are trying this new route tomorrow starting at 5 am. Pray I don’t fall out in the middle. 🙂
