Lifestyle Reorientation Planning

Lifestyle Reorientation Planning

We all have more than just one role in our lives – we’re at the same time hardworking business people, 24/7 parents, best friends, pet owners, housekeepers, caring spouses and lot more. While this variety makes the life exciting, fulfilled and amazingly generous, it often comes with a lack of sleep, anxiety and thousands of other bad habits included. So, in one moment you’re holding all the strings in your hands, and in other, you’re struggling with excessive weight, smoking a bunch of cigarettes a day and losing your confidence. Luckily, this life gives us more than just one chance and shows that it’s never too late to get back on the right path, and this is how to use that precious opportunity in the best possible way:

Take it easy

Every change requires a lot of effort and much more time, so when you dive into the lifestyle reorientation adventure, don’t try to swallow everything at once but break a giant bite into a few smaller and easily vincible ones. Arm yourself with time and try to set short-term, achievable goals, because that way you’ll maintain your motivation and increase the chances to persevere to the end.

Say goodbye to junk food

Eat The Right Healthy Food

Life is too short for bad food choices, especially when you know that “eating whatever” soon or later results in a number of serious consequences (and obesity is not the worst one). So, don’t you think it’s time to quit with burgers, chips, sweets and other slow killers, and welcome a bit “greener” food into your life? Instead of starting your day with a dish full of processed stuff, refresh your organism with quality whole foods, such as protein rich beans, tofu, whole grains and lean meat. Replace sugar and fat laden food and drinks, with natural juices, fresh- made smoothies, whole fruits and other organic ingredients available at the local market. And remember, you are the role model for your kids as well. In other words, if you love eating pizza and tell them it’s unhealthy, it’s not going to work.

Stop being a couch potato and embrace exercising

Everyone knows how it can be easy to fall in love with TV, couch and bunch of snacks, especially in the moments of anxiety, but the fact is that nothing calms better than physical activity. That’s more than a logical reason to bring exercising into your life, where you won’t just improve your body appearance, but also overcome stress and empty accumulated negative energy. Give yourself a break from everyday duties and go for a 30 minutes jogging, stop by to a nearby gym to perform strengthening and cardio trainings or simply workout at home.

Confront your vices and unhealthy habits

Nigella Sativa

If cigarettes and alcohol are your best friends, you’ve got the worst companions ever and it’s time to end that life – threatening friendship once and for all. Not only that you’ll free your organism from deadly toxins, but you’ll get rid of an illusion that these vices are actually helping you. Had a rough night? Alcohol will definitely harm your immune system in the short term. Most people know what it is like to drink a couple cups more than they actually needed. Therefore, you should know that Aronia juice is an instant cure for a hangover. In addition, if your immune system is even more vulnerable for some reason, you can do some research on healing benefits of nigella sativa.

Staying awake until dawn is not the funniest way to spend the night, but yoga, soothing baths and positive mindset may help you build healthy bedtime routine and restful sleep.

When it comes to the lifestyle improvements, you always have only two choices – to think it’s hard and time-consuming or to stop looking for excuses and change your life now.

This is a delightfully relevant article 🙂 I wouldn’t mind seeing more of the tips mentioned, but in depth – such as “motivate yourself to get off the couch”!
    Good work to everybody involved.

I think it’s way easier to look at one part at time as not to get so overwhelmed. Then it becomes a habit and replaces the old habits.
