#FitnessFriday Weekly Workout Recap

I’m baaaccckkkkk FITALES!!!!  How is everyone doing this first full week in the new year?  Well I can tell you I feel GREAT!  Perhaps it is because I got some much needed rest over the holidays OR that I am super hyped about my new DietBet challenge that began on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 (it’s not too late for you to join us.  Just sign up at http://dietbet.com/femmefitale).

There’s a lot of exciting things happening and planned in this new year so I can’t wait to share all of the adventures with you.  I really want this blog to continue to be a source of information for you along your fitness journey.  I recently shared with you my personal 2015 new year’s resolution but nothing about the blog or my YouTube channel.  Here is a quick list:

2015 Blog and YouTube New Year’s Resolution & Goals

1.  Provide more “investigative reporting” posts and videos about current events happening in fitness, health and wellness

2.  Share more of my own fitness journey with you all.  If I can do it hopefully it will inspire you to believe you can to if you ever had a doubt

3.  “Q&A Wednesday” on my YouTube channel.  Ask me a question weekly on my Facebook Fan Page or Google Plus about my own fitness and health journey and I will post a video each Wednesday answering your questions.

I like to keep things short and simple if possible so these are my primary resolutions and goals in 2015.

Monday

I took a little bit of time off between New Year’s Eve and Monday and BOY I could tell.  I DID NO WORKOUT on Monday!  Trifling I know but hubby was out of town so I could not make the first day of boot camp or weigh in.  I’m ok though.  I did hear it was a BEAST!  Today was the second day taking the WellPath supplements and so far so good.  I had loads of energy at work.  It was also my first time taking Naked Me Detox Tea and it was very gentle and soothing.

Tuesday

I met my fitness divas group at Brick Bodies for our workout with Heather.  We had a VERY nice workout.  It tired me out.  We basically did a Dirty 30’s Part II.  It was simple yet intense.  PLUS we had to get our workout in before the main snowfall.

I ate some good EATS afterwards.  The school cancellation helped me out because I was able to make me something to eat.  I had eggs, parmesan cheese, spinach, onions and bell peppers with a green smoothie made with unsweetened almond milk vanilla, mixed frozen fruit, spinach and WellPath Protein powder.  HEAVEN.

And finally, the workout that had me out in 18 degree weather and wolfing down a hearty and healthy breakfast.  Try it and tell me what you think of it.

Wednesday

This was my first day of boot camp at Sanders Optimum Fitness and it did not disappoint.  I have to be honest, I was a little afraid but I muddled through it.  LOL.  Burned some MAJOR calories in the process too.  I wore my Adidas miCoach Fit Smart to record my calories (review coming SOON I promise).  What I like most about it is it lights up with a particular color based on your heart rate zone so even if you do not know the heart rate you can tell how hard your working just by looking at the colors.

Thursday

We had another major day of in the Sanders Optimum Fitness Boot Camp lab.  Sprints, sprints and more sprints.  You get my drift.  I recorded my calories but my husband used it and it was set on his profile so it overcounted my calories by DOUBLE so now that I know he is using it too, I know what I need to do to pair it to my profile before my workouts.  I did have another healthy and delicious green smoothie (same recipe as on Tuesday) blended up in my Vitamix blender.

SHOPPING TIME
