Disclosure: I received a complimentary packet of ProCakes for review. All of the opinions expressed in this review are honest and my own.
I am constantly looking for quick yet filling breakfast meal options during the week because my mornings are hectic. From dropping off 2 children at 2 different schools, to rushing in the doors at the office to participate in 7:30 am calls – it gets hectic. Most mornings I am running out the door after working out that morning (I tend to work out at 5:00 am or 5:30 am during the week) on an empty stomach. I know bad right? Also considering the number of meetings I have back to back, I probably will not get a chance to eat again until about 12:00 pm or 1:00 pm.
These ProCakes are the brainchild of Caren Magill who at her heaviest weighed 200 lbs. She was looking for a breakfast food to keep her satiated and my friends, I think she did just that. You can read more about her HERE.

I followed the package directions which were very easy to follow. I used my griddle to make these. They took about 6 to 7 minutes total time to fully cook. Once done I plated and went to town. ProCakes are delicious!!!! I am not exaggerating, they have the same texture, fluffiness and taste and “regular” pancakes. The great surprise is these are filling and did not leave me with foggy head or low blood sugar after one hour of eating them. That is important to me because I need to eat food for sustenance and that will last me the majority of the morning while I sit on calls.
- Nice texture
- Nice flavor
- I honestly do not have one
I give ProCakes a 10 out of 10 stars. That is because they are delicious, fluffy, and everything you want a pancake to be PLUS they are filling you up with all of the protein to help keep you satiated. I think you will enjoy these as well.
