No Sugar Swap Recipes (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Desserts and Snacks)

No Sugar Challenge #nosugarswap
In the month of September the Femme Fitales and me are following a NO SUGAR Challenge.  Let me just say the struggle is REAL REAL REAL!!!!    For many of us sugar is a key part of our diet.  But sugar also feeds obesity, diabetes, cancer and other chronic illnesses.  Because like us, disease likes to feed on sugar to.

So I asked several of my fellow fitness blogger friends to help me compile a list of recipes where we swap out the sugar for healthier options like fresh fruit or leave it out all together.  This was a lot of fun to pull together and these recipes look really delicious so try one, try them all.

Just swap out the sugar for something that is healthier for you.  Your body will thank you for it.

Here the video I made with the introduction to the “No Sugar” challenge and how I was doing with it.

Breakfast

They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day so you do not want to eat too much sugar first thing else you crash and burn soon after.   Rebecca of Strength & Sunshine shares her power breakfast muffins.

Anyway. Breakfast quinoa. It’s awesome. This apple pie breakfast quinoa is slightly sweet with crunch from the apple. The apple is key. If you have a morning sweet tooth, but crave something healthy, I cannot recommend this enough.
