This is how it works:

  • You put $25 in the pot
  • You lose a minimum of 4% of your beginning body weight in 4 weeks
  • You get your $25 back plus additional money if everyone doesn’t meet the goal
  • This challenge is open to men and women, 18+.

Now you may be thinking – why would I want to do this?  Wouldn’t people cheat?

The short answer is – you may want to get in on this if you have struggled with staying motivated on your fitness journey and doing it with a group of us just may be the PUSH you need to stick to it.

As far as folks who may cheat – DietBet has referees who are very stringent in their observations and analysis of the challengers so if a person comes in with exaggerated numbers they stand to get disqualified from the game and lose their $25.  Who wants that?

This is NOT a starvation diet – if you go through extreme measures and lose too much weight too fast, according to the referees, you could get disqualified so don’t do it.

As an added bonus we will have 2 certified personal trainers offering up clean eating tips, exercise routines (please be mindful of your fitness level and always check with a physician before starting any unfamiliar or new physical fitness or nutrition program) and daily motivation and inspiration.  WE CAN DO THIS!
