My Friday Five today has to do with 5 boot camps I highly recommend. I am constantly asked what would recommend for boot camps that deliver results. Welp – wait no longer here is a post completely dedicated to the topic. These recommendation are from personal experience or based on information provided to me by friends who have participated with these boot camps. With that said – these are my own opinions so the only way to find out if any of these programs are for you is to research and try it out yourself.
This link up is sponsored by Courtney from Eat Pray Run, DC, Cynthia from You Signed Up For What? and Mar from Mar on the Run! Their fitness and running blogs are amazing so make sure you head on over and check them out.
Now let’s get started. These are in no particular order because I believe in variety and enjoy a bunch of different kinds of fitness activities.
1. Sanders Optimum Fitness Boot Camp
If you have been reading this blog then you know I have been going to this boot camp since the Summer of 2012. Monte Sanders runs this rigorous boot camp and he is the TRUTH! He is the quintessential firm but fair coach. He only wants the best from us and of us. I have completely realized results from his camp. Reduction in inches from around the waist, improved vitals (heart rate, glucose level, triglycerides, and blood pressure) and have become stronger and faster. This boot camp is located in Owings Mills, MD at the Garrison Forest School for Girls. Click on the photo to go directly to their site and learn more. If you ever decide to come through hit me up.
2. Hardbody Outdoor Fitness
Shawn Chevalier runs this dynamic boot camp and he is no joke. The man exemplifies what he teaches and is tough as nails. He is also my co-worker! If you decide to try this program he will provide a 2-week FREE TRIAL if you mention you learned about his program from Femme Fitale Fit Club. His program is located in Columbia, MD so if you are in the area – try it out.
3. LiveNow Fitness
David Girton runs this intense boot camp and he and his team are serious business. They have programs centered around fitness such as boot camps, triathlons, We Dig Green (green eating) and much more. His team has mad personality and they make everyone feel welcomed. They also have free sessions so check out their page and get on their mailing list.
4. Believer’s Fitness Boot Camp
Coach Falcon is one of the nicest men you want to meet. He runs this boot camp from a faith standpoint which I really like. One of our Fitales actually participated in his boot camp from a Groupon she received and truly enjoyed it and saw results. Something about him having her doing push ups…really made it worth her while. LOLOL!! If you know her she typically does not like push ups. Click on the icon to learn more about his program. He is located in Baltimore, MD.
5. Extreme Fun and Fitness Boot Camp
My co-worker started attending this boot camp because she redeemed a Groupon and loves it. The price is right, she is seeing results and feels the staff is very informative and friendly. They are located in Carroll and Howard Counties. Check them out and if you can, find a Groupon to realize some savings while you get fit.
There you have it. My five recommended boot camps in the Maryland area.
