Twelve Days of Fitness – Day 7

It is Day 6 of the Twelve Days of Fitness challenge by Fit Armadillo.  This challenge encourages fitness bloggers to blog every day for the next 12 days about our workouts.  I am hanging in there.

Today is Day 31 of the December challenge and it consists of 270 squats and 80 scissor kicks.  I have plans to do them before I go to my New Year’s Eve extravaganza tonight.  Today is a half day at work so that should not be a problem.  Why am I waiting later than working out during my normal crack of dawn time?  Because I have been using this week to sleep in more than normal.  Sleeping in to me is 6:30 am and it feels GREAT!  I have more energy, I’m not dragging and life is good.

There’s not a whole lot going on today in the fitness realm other than finishing up this December challenge but I am grateful God allows me to have all of my faculties to work out.

FYI, I’ve also been exercising my spiritual strength by reading a devotional daily.  My goal is to read the bible every day next year.

    Sounds like you’ve done GREAT with that December challenge!!
    I’ve also been enjoying ‘sleeping in’ last week & this – staying in BED a bit longer, since I haven’t been babysitting my grands …

    Way to end 2013! Love your spiritual resolution as well. We often forget that our overall health is affected by not only our physical health, but also our social and mental health. Hope you had a great New Year’s Celebration 🙂

    WOW!!! 270 squats!!! Ewww-weee.. My legs are hurting just thinking about that. You go girl, that is wonderful and I am so glad that you are able to sleep in and get your zzzzz’s. Happy New Year!
